Today we take a closer look at the premium link generator CocoLeech. The first recordings of Cocoleech on the internet are from July 2015. At that time, everything was still a bit simpler and only 5 file hosters were supported. A lot has happened since then and we take a look at the current status today. In order to write a comprehensive test, we wrote to the support and they answered us after two days with a friendly email. Generously, our account was upgraded to Premium for a few days for testing.
Test CocoLeech free of charge
We can still remember that Cocoleech could be used completely free of charge. The download traffic was severely limited, but many popular filehosters were supported and smaller files could be downloaded quickly. We are not exactly sure, but around the end of 2020, the service was completely switched to a paid premium membership.
Today, Cocoleech presents itself much more professionally and promises its users numerous functions. With this offer, Cocoleech is a good alternative and need not fear comparison with other multihosters.

Test Cocoleech Premium Link
To get an impression of Cocoleech, we test the provider with the various file hosts. We have a 200 Mbit DSL line at our disposal and use the Google Chrome browser with the integrated download manager or JDownloader 2 and switch off the VPN.
Uploaded.net: Download starts immediately
We start our Cocoleech test with the popular file hoster Uploaded.net and try to download a 500 MB file. The download is also ready immediately after one click and starts immediately after another click on the download button. The download speed is initially 8 MB per second and increases further to 13 MB per second. The file is on our hard drive after a few seconds. Uploaded's daily download traffic limit is 30 GB per day.
1Fichier: Online
Next, we test the French file hoster 1Fichier.com with Cocoleech. The daily download traffic limit is 20 GB per day. The file is downloaded after a few seconds.

DDownload.com: very good
Let's now turn our attention to DDownload.com formerly DDL.to. The download is ready and starts immediately. The download speed is about 13 MB per second. The daily download traffic at Cocoleech is 15 GB.
Filefactory.com: Failed
Unfortunately, with the file hoster Filefactory.com we only get the message Failed with the Chrome Browser from Cocoleech. The download is not available. We will try again at a later date. There is also no improvement with JDownloader. We only have the option of downloading in free mode.
Filer.net: JDownloader runs - Browser does not run
With the file hoster Filer.net we also have problems with the browser and we cannot start the download. With JDownloader 2, the download works much better. The download starts immediately and the speed is about 500 KB per second. After a few seconds the download stops, but restarts after a few moments and we can download at 4 MB per second.
Keep2Share K2S: Download starts immediately
There is good news for all Keep2Share users. Cocoleech makes the file from Keep2Share available for download immediately without any problems. The download also starts immediately and the speed fully utilises our internet line. We can download the file with almost 24 MB per second and have almost no time to take a screenshot. Unfortunately, the download traffic of Cocoleech is limited to 2 GB per day.
Alfafile.net: JDownloader works
The file hoster Alfafile is also not accessible with Cocoleech when we use the Chrome browser. The download with JDownloader, on the other hand, works without problems and we can download from Alfafile with just under 9 MB per second.
Daofile.com: runs very well
We have no problems at all with the file hoster Daofile.com and we can easily create the link in the browser with the Downloader Generator from Cocoleech. The file is immediately ready for download and we can download at almost full speed and just under 23 MB per second.
WDupload: Online
We were also able to reach the filehoster WDupload very well. The Cocoleech downloader generated the link for us in a few seconds and we were able to download the file. We reached up to 9 MB per second, with the speed increasing steadily. We barely had enough time to take a screenshot.
JDownloader 2 Account Setup
Since we had problems downloading with the Google Chrome browser at some filehosters, we set up our Cocoleech Premium account at JDownloader 2.

Conclusion: Very good
We are positively surprised by Cocoleech. The multihoster keeps almost all its promises and we were able to download from all filehosters at very high speed. The biggest problem was that we could not reach Filefactory and had to use JDownloader twice. In addition, we would like to have even more daily download traffic at Keep2Share and generally the support of the file hoster Rapidgator.
The support answered our ticket in a friendly manner within a few hours and numerous new functions have been added in recent weeks (VPN service, video stream, SSL downloads). We also noticed the low price. Especially the account for one year is very cheap compared to other providers at $55.99.
We like Cocoleech very much and can recommend the multihoster.
