Free Katfile Account
We are of course testing the download with a free Katfile account. The provider promises 100 KB per second and we will see if they keep their promises. Multihoster Linksnappy Test
With the Multihoster Linksnappy and KatFile everything worked wonderfully. The download has started immediately and we could the test file with the maximum speed download from our internet line. The 100MB were on our hard drive within a few seconds. The speed is more than sufficient to download a movie, a PC game, or a program.
Update 01.03.2024We were able to download from Katfile with the Linksnappy Premium Account at approximately 32 megabytes per second. The download started in a few seconds and the average speed was consistently over 30 MB per second.
Update from 03/25/2020:
To get a better impression of the file hoster Katfile, we tested it again today with Linksnappy and were able to 1,500 KB per second download. Our experiences with the multihoster are not great, but for small files, an account with Linksnappy should be enough. If you want to download larger amounts of data, you should directly consider Buy Premium Account at Katfile.
Update from 07/16/2020:
We tested the file hoster Katfile again with Linksnappy and achieved excellent results. With the premium account of the multi-hoster and the download manager JDownloader 2, we were able to maximum speed download. We were able to download the 500 megabyte test file at 7 MB per second, which took us just under a minute.
Multihoster Premiumize.me
We have mostly had good experiences with Premiumize.me done. The multi-hoster supports KatFile and we were able to start the download without any problems. The speed was a bit slow and fluctuated between 300 and 400 Kilobytes per second. For those who only use the file hoster occasionally, this should be sufficient. Those who want to download large amounts of data should buy a premium account or test the multihoster Linksnappy.
Linkifier
The multihoster is not supported at the moment. We will, at a later date, provide Test with Linkifier Perform again. Update 2023: We advise against Linkifier and recommend other multi-hosters or file-hosters.
Upload Test
For the upload, we are using the Chrome browser and Katfile's website. The upload went no problem and we could with maximum speed upload the test file. Unfortunately, our internet line can't handle more than 2.5 MB per second. Anyone who wants to upload larger amounts of data should of course use a FTP Manager use.
